A&L Goodbody launches "CPD Tracker App" – to help in-house legal teams manage CPD requirements

A&L Goodbody has launched a CPD (continuing professional development) tracker app

The app is a useful resource for in-house lawyers and other legal professionals subject to the Law Society's CPD requirements. This easy to navigate app includes a CPD log which automatically calculates a user's outstanding CPD for the year and contains some FAQs on CPD rules. In addition it has the facility for all CPD records to be exported via email as a spreadsheet attachment. This will assist legal teams to better understand what training has been received by all members and enable them to more easily share material and other knowledge acquired at training.

The A&LG Legal CPD Tracker is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Paula Reid, Partner and Head of Knowledge at A&L Goodbody said: "Our goal at A&L Goodbody is to support our clients and make their jobs a little easier. We saw the challenge our clients faced each year in recording their CPD hours and also understanding the CPD rules. We developed this app in response to these challenges. The ability to log attendance at CPD events "on the go" on a smartphone will avoid the year-end challenge of trying to remember what training was actually received. It is also a very helpful resource for finding opportunities to meet CPD requirements"

The A&L Goodbody CPD Tracker app is part of a suite of online tools which have been developed by the Firm over the past 18 months, including: Irish HR Law A-Z, Ireland’s first dedicated law app which provides HR professionals, in-house lawyers and senior executives with accessible information on employment law facts and regulations; and The Irish Data Privacy app, which includes an index of privacy law terms as well as links to relevant acts and regulations.

The A&L Goodbody CPD Tracker app, is available via Apple and Android app stores
