A&L Goodbody wins two international awards

A&L Goodbody has been named 'Irish Law Firm of the Year 2017' by international legal publications The Lawyer and the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) in London.

The Firm was noted for its strategic vision, innovation in legal solutions and excellence in client service as well as for work undertaken on a number of significant international transactions.

In addition to the overall awards for Ireland, A&L Goodbody was also recognised for its work on key corporate and financial services transactions having won the 'European Corporate Deal of the Year' from The Lawyer for its work advising US company Verizon on its €2bn acquisition of Fleetmatics Group, a ground-breaking transaction for Irish-listed PLCs and having advised on the winning IFLR 'High Yield Deal of the Year' for its work on a significant Virgin Media debt capital markets transaction.
