The increase in roles within Financial Services an encouraging trend for the Irish market

In an uncertain economic Brexit era, it is encouraging to see that confidence in the financial markets have not subdued and the demand for skilled professionals is still growing.

The Panel 2017 Banking & Treasury Salary Guide is a comprehensive tool for employers and candidates. The guide offers an executive market summary together with a salary and benefit guideline to current salary trends.

Alan Bluett, Partner (Banking & Treasury), officially launched the guide earlier on this month.

Key statistics:

  • Demand for Compliance and Risk staff continues to grow, causing an acute shortage in these areas.
  • The corporate treasury market is buoyant with a lot of vacancies at the junior/mid management levels
  • Front office roles within banking remain thin on the ground.
  • There is a lot of tyre-kicking going on with overseas financial institutions assessing Ireland as a Brexit Location but it still too early to really know how many boots this will eventually put on the ground in Ireland.
