The Hot Stove Restaurant
The Hot Stove Restaurant is situated on Dublin's original Georgian Square, on the west side and is opposite the main Rotunda Hospital car park!
Parnell Square has become a real art corner of Dublin with the Gate Theatre & Theatre@36 ! The Dublin Writers Museum & The Hugh Lane Gallery on the top of the square! Hillsboro Fine Art Gallery is also found on the square. Our world famous neighbour in foodie circles Chapter One is at the top of the square.
The Hot Stove Restaurant is a collaboration between Joy Beattie in the kitchen & Simon Keegan in the front of house, bringing Joy's passion for food and Simon's passion for wine into an elegant setting in this bright spacious basement venue.
- Joy's background includes working in the Michelin Starred Chapter One in London, The Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin amongest others.
Simon has worked in the K-Club, The Four Seasons Dublin & Berry Brothers & Rudd.
With the added bonus of a fabulous outdoor space on two levels at the rear of the restaurant!
The menu is designed around using local Irish produce as much as possible from artisan suppliers and producers, with seasonal influences.
- Lunch, and lunch specials are available between 12 & 2.30 pm.
- Pre Theatre is available from 5.30 pm followed by the Dinner Menu, all very reasonably priced!
The wine list will grow to fill our fabulous wine cellar space at the heart of the building; we also have beer available on draught!

Parking is available on Parnell Square, or in the Jervis Street car park or the DIT Car Park. In the evening times the car parks in the Rotunda are available from 5.30 pm to 11 pm.
