  • A very short introductory segment designed to remind learners how Analytics works on a technical level.
  • Marketing campaigns and Analytics
  • An explanation of why Google Analytics is so useful in regard to marketing. This section will focus on the importance of measurability and how attribution works, and why it is important.

Conversions and Analytics

  • An explanation of the different ways Google Analytics can be used to track valuable actions on your website, with a focus on analysis of these actions.

Live Demo of Product

  • We will slowly work our way through the key areas of Analytics reporting, discussing how to analyse the different metrics, their relative importance and insights that can be gleaned from them. We will also demonstrate how dashboards and custom reporting works, and how to build them.

Discussion segment

  • This section allows time for discussion and demonstration of any areas of difficulty or interest the learners may have.

After the course, you will be able to:

  • Understand how to setup goals and events.
  • Understand how dashboards can be built and read in Google Analytics.
  • Know what to look at in the different sections of the product in order to judge marketing effectiveness.
  • Know how to track a marketing campaign, and analyse the data provided by Google Analytics to provide real insight on your campaigns.
