There are a number of reasons for this: new budget allocations for recruiters mean new hires are now possible. The effect of the new year’s resolution can’t be underestimated either: with projects completed and bonuses paid, the end of a year often sees workers quit, opening up space for new blood.

If you are worried that there will be a dearth of opportunities available in 2023, a new survey has found that Irish companies' recruitment plans are at their highest in six years. Ninety percent of employers will continue hiring in 2023, despite worries about an economic downturn. According to a recent Global Benefits Attitudes Survey, 44% of employees are “job seekers” this year.

If you’d like to look for a new role this year, there is an overview of five companies that are hiring for finance roles below, with plenty more to discover on the IFSC Job Board. Now all you have to do is update your CV––and get ready to apply.
