NTMA to hold scheduled bond auction on 1st September 2022

The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) announces that it will hold a bond auction on Thursday, 1st September 2022. There will be two bonds offered in the auction.

The details of the auction are as follows:

Bonds to be auctioned

  • 0.35% Treasury Bond 2032 and 1.5% Treasury Bond 2050

Auction size:

  • €1,000 to €1,250 million

Auction opens:

  • 8:00 a.m.

Auction closes: 

  • 10:00 a.m.

Settlement Date

  • 5th September 2022

The auction will be conducted on the Bloomberg Auction System and will be confined to recognised Primary Dealers.

A non-competitive auction for 15 per cent of the amount sold in the competitive auction will immediately follow and will close at 10:00 a.m. on Monday 5th September 2022.
