NAMA publishes a quarterly report under Section 55 of the NAMA Act. The latest report (for Quarter 3 2022) has been laid before the Oireachtas and is now available on the NAMA website at the following link:
The report is accompanied by a letter to the Minister for Finance which includes the following information:
- Pre-tax profit for the period January-September 2022: €69 million
- Total cash generated in the 9-month period: €387 million. A further €0.1 billion was generated between 30 September and 16 December, bringing total cash generated since inception to €47.4 billion)
- Total cash transfers by NAMA to Exchequer of €3.9 billion as at end December (€3.5 billion from its lifetime surplus and a further €400 million in corporation tax payments.)
- NAMA’s expected lifetime contribution to the Exchequer, between its projected total lifetime surplus of €4.5 billion and projected total tax payments of €400m, is €4.9 billion.
